JOB POSITION: Stress Engineer - On Site

KEY INFORMATION:

• Science, mechanical engineering degree
• 3-6 years of experience
• Management, coordination
• 2D & 3D CAD software knowledge
• NavisWorks, PIPESTRESS or ANSYS
• Electrical supports, cable tray calculations experience

EXPERTISE:

• Responding to site queries and performing mechanical stress analyses
• Collaborating with stakeholders and proposing modifications
• Ensuring compliance with client procedures and working with CAD designers on design drawings
• Gathering input data, updating reports, and clarifying issues with installation contractors and other disciplines
• Performing calculations for cable trays, electrical supports, and resolving technical issues
• Suggesting modifications when sizing criteria are not met
• Closing open points and reviewing modifications from stakeholders
• Conducting feasibility assessments and reviewing subcontracted work
• Proposing improvements to incomplete studies
