This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise to projects that shape the UK's energy transition contributing to hydrogen, CO₂, and other decarbonisation initiatives.

We are seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer / FEA Engineer / Pipe Stress Engineer to lead and support a range of analysis tasks, from pipework stress assessments using CAESAR II to advanced studies involving FEA, fatigue, CFD, fracture mechanics, and hydrogen-specific evaluations.

This Stress Analysis Engineer job will suit:

  • Experience in pipework stress analysis within oil, gas, or a related industry.

  • Proven FEA skills using industry-standard software.

  • Strong background in fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis.

  • CAESAR II expertise.

  • Knowledge of IGEM/TD/12, ASME B31.12, and UK gas infrastructure design legislation would be highly advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • You will hold be degree qualified (2:1 and above classification) in aMechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
