Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in the UK is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join one of our leading traffic management clients.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow and diversions, reading CAD traffic management drawings, and reporting to site or operations managers.

Candidates must have Lantra traffic management qualifications, a valid UK driving licence, be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check, and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Lantra Traffic Management qualifications required.
• Must pass drugs and alcohol screening.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Holds a full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
