Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Streetworks Coordinator to join our St Albans team. You will ensure works comply with NRSWA, assist project teams, local authorities, and clients, and support the Regional Street Works team in fulfilling duties under the NRSWA.

Key responsibilities include issuing Streetworks permits, coordinating with third parties, managing licenses and breaches, and delivering accurate reporting. Strong MS Office skills and knowledge of NRSWA are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough attention to detail in all deliverables.
• Sound knowledge and experience of New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA).

Responsibilities

• Issue new Streetworks permits to the Street Manager system and manage each permit to completion.
• Monitor commitments to avoid breaches of legislation and ensure compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with third parties (Parking suspensions, Bus Stop suspensions, Road Closures, etc.).
• Administer Section 50 licenses and respond to FPNs and Section 74 charges.
• Compile reports for proposed and in-progress works as required.
• Provide input into company KPIs and participate in progress reviews.
• Respond to Highway Authority comments and modification requests.
• Participate in project planning and progress meetings with project teams.
• Identify and maintain interfaces for NRSWA activities within projects.
• Contribute to business improvements with regional teams.
• Lead monthly commercial and project reviews and audits for compliance.
