Job summary

Pinson TM Limited in Gravesend is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives. You will work with direct labour and sub-contractors, meeting targets and deadlines.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD traffic management drawings, and reporting to the site or operations manager. You will also ensure safety and RAMS compliance and unload/load materials as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations.
• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.
