Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a UK-wide team. The role involves setting up traffic controls and ensuring safety on site.

You'll work with direct and subcontract labour, meet targets and follow RAMS, CAD drawings and health and safety requirements. Full UK driving licence (6 points max) and Lantra qualifications are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with ≤6 points).
• Drugs & Alcohol check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights where required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting issues to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.
• Assisting with traffic diversions.
• Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to meet output and quality.
• Complying with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Adhering to RAMS.
• Assisting with unloading/loading of materials.
• Reporting plant and vehicle defects.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• Streetworks Operative

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work


• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.


• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.


• Setting up traffic lights.


• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.


• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.


• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.


• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.


• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.


• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.


• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
