Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Streetworks Coordinator for Sapphire Utility Solutions in Leyland, England. The role focuses on administering all Streetworks permits and notices in line with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and NRSWA, ensuring safe highway works.

You will coordinate streetworks across the area, operate the Street Works Register, and collaborate with Scheduling teams and the Program Manager to deliver operations efficiently. Proactive communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience handling permits and notices on Street Manager or similar.
• Knowledge of Traffic Management Act 2004 and NRSWA is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with scheduling teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Department:
Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.
Sapphire Traffic Management Solutions have depots across the UK. Our fleet cover high and low speed solutions supported by the in house CAD, Planning and Streetworks Team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
The Team utilise the latest technology to minimise disruption to allow works to be undertaken safely while keeping the road network moving.

Purpose of the role:

As a Streetworks Coordinator for our Streetworks Team, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). Y

• Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout the area.
• Operate the Street Works Register for the planning of works and events being organised on the highway.
• Working closely with our Scheduling teams to enable operational delivery
• Working closely with Program Manager
• Speaking with internal stakeholders
• Booking in jobs on the Big Change system
• Dealing with queries

Key Requirements

Skill and Experience:

• Previous experience working with Permits and notice on Street Manager or similar
