Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail across a high volume of repetitive checks.
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and accurate at data entry.
• Excellent communication with local authorities and site teams.
• Reliable with a 07:00 start every working day.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Process work stops and registrations through Street Manager and the in house works management system, within the timeframes set by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
• Check every completed job for signing, lighting and guarding, and that the reinstatement is complete including road markings, anti skid surfacing and kerbs.
• Review reinstatement methodology, identify interim reinstatements and elevate any dangerous reinstatement immediately.
• Run jeopardy and compliance reports, update job status and issue them to the distribution list.
• Audit completed works against the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in the Highway and share lessons learnt with the operations teams.
• Liaise with local authorities on permits, extensions, variations and amendments, and chase planners on jobs at risk of overrun.
• Act as the cross contract support point for Streetworks queries from the rest of the business.
