The remit of a Street Scene Operative Level 2 involves removing litter, detritus, and dog fouling, including the removal of all deposited and fly-tipped wastes from locations specified within the Dudley Borough. Additionally, the role includes carrying out general and skilled horticultural and grounds maintenance duties.
The post holder must have a positive and encouraging ‘can do’ outlook and approach, which is always maintained whilst working with Dudley MBC. They will ensure that enquiries, both internally and externally, are responded to promptly and professionally, with a focus on putting residents of the borough at the heart of the work we do. The aim is to work collectively to achieve an attractive and well-maintained Street Scene throughout the entire local authority area.
