Job summary

Fife Council is seeking a motivated Technician Engineer with street lighting experience to join the Roads and Lighting Maintenance Team. You will support delivery of technical and operational requirements and coordinate activities.

Based at Bankhead Central, Glenrothes with hybrid working options, the role focuses on asset data, fault management and service delivery to ensure a safe and reliable roads lighting network.

Qualifications

• Experience in street lighting maintenance and related operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and coordinate resources.
• Strong communication with public, colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team activities and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver street lighting services.
• Manage street lighting faults, service requests and emergency responses.
• Maintain accuracy of asset and maintenance data in network systems.
