United Infrastructure Ltd. seeks a Maintenance Operative to join the Power division within the Jones Lighting team. You will assist in electrical construction, perform lamp changes, fault repair, and street lighting maintenance, while ensuring safety around electricity and traffic management.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in related work, a clean driving licence, and relevant authorisations to operate MEWP. Training for additional certifications may be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience assisting electrical construction activities.
• Full clean driving licence (minor points considered) and MEWP class 2 licence advantageous.
• Desirable certifications listed may be training for right applicant.
• Strong adherence to safety around electricity and traffic management.

Responsabilités

• Assist in electrical construction activities including street lighting maintenance.
• Perform bulk lamp changes and cleaning.
• Conduct fault investigation and repair tasks.
• Support street lighting installation and servicing tasks.

Description du poste

We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Power business division within the Jones Lighting team who offer a range of high-quality services to our clients including street lighting, ICP Works, DNO Contractor Services and LV Overhead Line works, Electrical Design, Car Charging Solutions and HV and Cable Lay works.

Your must have at least 1 years experience of assisting in electrical construction activities including:

• Safe working in the vicinity of electricity and telephone overhead lines
• Signing, guarding, traffic management and NRSWA requirements
• Bulk lamp change and clean
• Fault investigation / repair
• Street Lighting installation / maintenance
• A full clean driving licence (minor points considered) is essential as are the relevant authorisations to operate a MEWP (class 2 licence is an advantage).

In addition the following qualifications/Certifications are desirable however consideration may be given to training for the right applicant
