Job description

We are looking to recruit a Street Cleansing Operative (Driver) to join our expanding business, working in our new contract in Woking.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas of Woking according to specified standards and schedules. Your duties will include:

1. Cleaning areas and public land to the required specifications and frequency, including removal of litter, debris, glass, dog fouling, animal carcasses, fly tipping, fly posting, graffiti, needles from streets, footpaths, green spaces, and other sites using manual and mechanical equipment.
2. Collecting and disposing of different waste types, including hazardous waste, in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
3. Performing additional duties within the Street Cleansing Team as needed to cover for other operatives.

Requirements:

• Driving Licence (essential)
• Experience in Street Cleansing (desirable)
• Training on machinery will be provided through Bagma Training.
