Street Cleansing Operative

Location: Brentwood CM13 3BH

Hourly rate: £13.33

Working Hours: 37 hours between 7:15am-5pm

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for 2 Street Cleansing Operatives to temporarily join their busy team within the Council's Waste & Recycling Collection department.

The sucessful candidate will be physically fit able to work outdoors in all weathers.

Role responsibilities:

• Four days per week duties will include Litter picking and bin emptying in Brentwood and Sheinfield High Streets
• One day per week responsible for refuse and recycling collection from all properties listed including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks and bulky items. Manual handling, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins between storage points and vehicles, use the lifting mechanism on the vehicle.

Full UK driving licence is essential for travel to different locations.
