Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse or Paramedic to work within an Assessment team based in the West Midlands.

The team operates within an Urgent Care Centre (UCC), with the role primarily functioning as a Junior Practitioner within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). You will assess a range of health and clinical needs of patients within your scope of competence, using clinical skills and judgment to diagnose, refer, or discharge patients. You will participate in educational activities to enhance your clinical knowledge and skills, with the aim of progressing to the role of Emergency Clinical Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Your responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, recording patient history and observations, and signposting patients to appropriate healthcare services. You will plan and deliver skilled care to meet patients' health and social care needs, ensuring high-quality, timely clinical care.

The role operates on a shift rota, including days, long days, and nights.

Hourly Rates:

• Monday to Friday: £28.00
• Saturday/Sunday: £32.00
• Nights: £35.00
