Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person. You'll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life. Please note that for this role in particular, we're looking for somebody who is comfortable being in the London office twice a week.

This role sits in a fast paced and autonomous corporate venture called OVO Solar & Heating, whose remit is to re-establish and grow OVO's renewables business. The business was launched in March 2025 on a highly innovative Franchising business model, and within 4 months outpaced OVO's best ever monthly solar sales. By the end of 2027, the unit is expected to be one of the largest solar & heat pump installation companies in the UK.
The role is akin to a Chief Of Staff role, and reports directly into the CEO of the business unit. It will engage very closely with all the internal unit functions - operations, sales, marketing, tech, business operations - as well as many of the main OVO Energy functions from marketing to finance.
We'll pay you between £59,000 - £78,000 depending on your specific skills and experience. We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission. You'll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
