We are looking for a Strategy Partner who can lead on major clients and pitches. We are after someone who is a big picture thinker and a natural collaborator. Carat is a front door to the One Dentsu network. This is a real differentiator for us – and our partnerships with Merkle in particular has been at the heart of an outstanding recent new business record.
For the clients you work on, you will be the person that sets the overall strategy and knits all of this together. Internally, you will draw different people together and thrive in being part of an enjoyable, collaborative process.
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, curious, and able to generate (or spot) fresh insight. At the heart of Carat’s approach lies a deep understanding of real people – how they live their lives, how they choose brands, and how they interact with media and technology. We seek a natural people person who can gain the respect of senior clients, inspire junior people, and help them feel good about themselves. We need someone who can cut through complexity and keep things simple and actionable.

This person might have held a senior strategic role in a media agency; but might also have held a senior strategic role in a through-the-line creative agency, client organization, or data and insight company. Basically, if you read the above and think that’s you, we would love to hear from you.
You will lead the thinking on a couple of clients – exact portfolio tbc. You will lead or contribute to major pitches. You will provide a spark to your fellow strategists as they grapple with defining their own client challenges. As a senior member of the strategy department, you will help shape general strategic approaches and solutions we deploy, and elevate the strategic game of the agency as a whole.
