Job summary

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) in London invites motivated candidates to join as a Business Analyst Intern focusing on Strategy, Consulting & Mergers & Acquisitions. You will contribute to market research, strategic analysis and exploratory assessments of M&A opportunities.

You will gain hands-on experience in an international setting, guided by a supervisor who will help you develop priorities and responsibilities in line with your growth.

Qualifications

• Currently studying strategy, finance, economics, consulting or management.
• Enjoy researching, summarizing and comparing information from different sources.
• Foundation in financial analysis and use Excel and presentation tools.
• Be rigorous and distinguish facts, assumptions and recommendations.
• Comfortable communicating in English; French is an asset for collaboration.
• Able to work collaboratively, seek feedback and suggest practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Market research: analyze companies, trends and needs in the markets under review.
• Business analysis: organize data and turn business questions into actionable analysis.
• Assessment: compare business models and identify potential growth drivers.
• M&A: support target research and prepare company profiles.
• Financial analysis: support preliminary financial statement reviews and valuation comparisons.
• Deal materials: organize information for preliminary assessments under supervision.
• Recommendations: prepare memos and presentations explaining assumptions and risks.
• Follow-up: document decisions and track actions arising from reviewed projects.
