A leading company seeks a Content Strategist to enhance the Coutts brand in wealth management. This hybrid role requires collaborating with leadership to develop compelling content plans, leading editorial initiatives, and leveraging deep knowledge of market trends. Ideal candidates will have strong strategic, communication, and leadership skills.
We are looking for a Content Strategistto work on Natwest, specifically the Coutts brand. This role would develop a content plan that establishes authority and trust in Coutts as a brand providing wealth management for ultra-high net worth individuals.
You will be pivotal in shaping our external narrative, enhancing brand perception, and driving engagement with our target audience. You will possess a deep understanding of the wealth management landscape, exceptional editorial skills, and a proven ability to lead and inspire a content team. You’ll also be able to coach the strategy to the rest of the content team and drive an uplift in quality.
This is a hybrid role that sits with the Coutts client and would need to be in their office at least 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Wealth Leadership team to understand and translate the new wealth strategy into a comprehensive content plan that aligns with business objectives and target audience needs.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and trends within the UHNW wealth management sector.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish a framework for measuring the effectiveness of content initiatives.
Provide editorial direction and guidance to the creative and production teams, ensuring all content aligns with the Coutts brand voice, style guidelines, and quality standards.
Drive an uplift in the quality and sophistication of content across all channels, including website, social media, thought leadership pieces, client communications, and marketing materials.
Oversee the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
Monitor and analyze content performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the content strategy.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in editorial leadership, content strategy, or content marketing, preferably within the wealth management, financial services industry, or other luxury goods/services industries.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable content plans.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and content marketing tools.
