Job summary

Starbucks UK is seeking a Strategy & Insights Analyst to drive data-led growth across the UK and EMEA. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations, influencing commercial decisions for company-owned and licensed stores.

You will use Excel, Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau to deliver robust insights to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape market presence and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, FMCG, international or franchise environments.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Clear and concise communicator, able to influence stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Model and translate data to drive business growth; automate and scale reporting tools and dashboards (Excel, Power BI).
• Build and maintain market capacity and network models; inform store placement and portfolio growth.
• Analyse store performance, P&L drivers, customer behavior, and macro trends to identify growth drivers and insights for leadership.
• Collate and translate licensee data to support international operations reporting; ensure consistency across regions.
• Lead structured problem solving; deliver data-driven recommendations to influence senior leadership.

Job description

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for driving data-led growth across the UK and EMEA business, identifying key performance drivers, optimising store network strategy, and informing commercial decision-making. You'll ensure insights are robust, actionable, and aligned to business priorities, contributing to defining optimal market presence, formats, and growth opportunities across company-owned and licensed stores. We'll look to you to bring your strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful recommendations. Along with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau to deliver high-quality insights for stakeholders across our business. We're looking for someone with proven experience within retail, FMCG, international or franchise environments, with understanding of performance drivers, operational dynamics, and translating data into commercially relevant insights. You'll also need to be a clear and concise communicator, able to present insights effectively, working both independently and collaboratively across teams to influence stakeholders and support cross-functional outcomes.

• Modelling and translating data to drive business growth, enhancing, automating, and scaling reporting tools and dashboards using Excel and Power BI with accuracy — ensuring outputs remain scalable and aligned to evolving business priorities
