Job summary

PIMCO in London is seeking a Solutions Strategist to join the Client Solutions & Analytics team. The role focuses on advising clients and designing investment solutions across major asset classes, including pension schemes and LDI strategies.

You will collaborate with Account Management, deliver customised portfolio analyses, and leverage AI tools to improve insights and scalability. Strong quantitative skills and experience in asset management are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment consulting, or banking.
• Degree in finance, economics, financial mathematics, statistics or engineering preferred; MBA or Master beneficial.
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension Schemes, LDI, CDI investments desirable.
• Robust quantitative and analytical skills; advanced Excel and modelling required.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or SQL desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly, in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Management to engage with clients and design investment solutions across asset classes.
• Develop customised portfolio analyses for clients and prospects, including fixed income and multi-asset hedging solutions.
• Incorporate liability-aware considerations forDefined Benefit pension schemes, including LDI and CDI strategies.
• Act as a trusted investment advisor and support business development initiatives.
• Generate industry thought leadership using CS&A infrastructure and asset allocation expertise.
• Utilise AI-enabled tools to streamline processes and enhance client analyses.
