Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Solutions Strategist in London to partner with client teams, design fixed income and multi-asset solutions, and support Defined Benefit pension objectives with liability-aware strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in asset management, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Python/SQL. A background in LDI and a proactive, collaborative mindset is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in asset management, investment consulting, or banking.
• Background in multi-asset or LDI strategies preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand objectives and design solutions.
• Present customised portfolio analyses for fixed income, multi-asset, and hedging.
• Integrate liability-aware asset allocation for Defined Benefit schemes.
• Develop thought leadership and cross-asset insights.
• Utilise AI tools to enhance client analyses and efficiency.
