Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Technical Training & Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of technical training across Water Services. This field-based role focuses on Water Supply Treatment and operational best practice, partnering with operations to drive value for money and safety.

You will source innovative training solutions, benchmark against external standards, deliver engaging sessions, and develop staff competence while upholding excellent customer service and health and

Qualifications

• IOSH Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent).
• Front line operational experience in Water Supply/Treatment.
• Essential minimum of 3 years in frontline operations for Water Supply or Treatment.
• TAQA or A1 training qualification (desirable; support available).
• Understanding of mechanical assets in operations.
• Excellent training and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
• Good organising and prioritising capabilities.
• Ability to challenge at all levels with customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative, cost-effective technical training and assessment.
• Source and benchmark training solutions externally to stay ahead of techniques.
• Partner with operational teams to maximise value for money and staff competence.
• Ensure training materials support customer service and safety standards.
