Job summary

Health Innovation West of England is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our work with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across the West of England.

The role offers senior strategic leadership for our Black Maternity Matters programme and collaboration with maternity and neonatal services, local authorities and VCSEs to reduce inequalities. Hybrid working with regular Bristol office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of leading complex programmes, partnerships or portfolios.
• Strong understanding of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector or community-led approaches.
• Experience working with communities and people with lived experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-profile programmes from strategy through to delivery and evaluation with Health Innovation West of England teams.
• Develop trusted partnerships across communities, voluntary organisations and health and care services.
• Turn community insight and data into actionable recommendations.
• Influence senior leaders, executives and national partners.
• Embed equity, co-production and anti-racist practice across our work.
• Manage programme budgets, risks, outcomes and reporting.
• Lead, support and manage colleagues.
• Represent Health Innovation West of England locally, regionally and nationally.
