Zusammenfassung

Guidant Global is recruiting a Buildings and Construction UK Buyer to own high-value procurement across Airbus UK estates. You will lead sourcing, tendering and contract negotiations, building strong supplier relationships to deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective services on site.

Based at the Broughton site with minimum three days on-site, the role involves cross-functional teamwork and international framework work, including a Belfast project, to support long-term procurement objectives.

Qualifikationen

• More than five years' experience in procurement, operations or facilities management.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement contracts within building/construction.
• Advanced project management with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical capability including business cases and KPIs.
• Ability to balance customers, suppliers, budgets and timelines.
• Professional-level English for commercial negotiations.

Aufgaben

• Lead procurement projects and competitive tendering across building and construction services.
• Implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Source and manage suppliers covering architecture, planning, construction, PM and building controls.
• Negotiate and implement national and international framework agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships through tendering, contracting and lifecycle.
• Ensure contractual deliverables meet cost, time and quality requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection and procurement activities.
• Challenge specifications and support demand management to improve value.
• Monitor supplier performance with KPIs.
• Support development of national and international procurement strategies.
