Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in transport, logistics or distribution.
• Experience leading large teams and multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance.
• Commercial, data-driven approach to decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large-scale transport operation and senior management team.
• Develop and implement the overall transport strategy.
• Drive operational efficiency, service levels and profitability.
• Maintain high standards of O Licence, DVSA, H&S and regulatory compliance.
• Lead fleet optimisation, cost control and investment decisions.
• Develop a high-performing culture across the transport function.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for technology, automation and process improvement.
• Manage budgets, KPIs and commercial performance.
• Ensure the operation is aligned with wider business objectives.
