Matchtech is seeking a dedicated Technical Buyer for a permanent role in manufacturing. You will manage cost-effective procurement of materials, goods and services to support business requirements.

The role emphasizes timely PO placement, supplier management, ERP data accuracy and cross-functional collaboration within the Supply Chain team. Strong experience in buying, ERP systems, and a technical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Buyer or Buyer in manufacturing.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret technical data.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders in a timely manner to support demand.
• Ensure materials arrive on the required date.
• Maintain supplier details in the ERP system.
• Build solid relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Maintain PO delivery dates in SAP.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage core suppliers in specialized commodity groups.
• Assist Senior Management with duties as required.
