Job summary

NHS England is seeking a senior programme and service management leader to provide strategic and operational oversight of large-scale digital technology programmes across a live service environment.

The post holder will guide delivery, governance and assurance, work with internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure high-quality, reliable digital services that support NHS England and the wider health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the delivery of complex technical programmes and technology services across NHS England’s operations.
• Develop, implement and assure the directorates’ technical strategy in a dynamic digital environment.
• Lead and manage large-scale programme structures across multiple locations with insourced and outsourced teams and suppliers.
• Provide expert technical and operational assurance into system design, infrastructure architecture and service introduction, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and budget constraints.
