Job summary

HelloKindred is seeking a Technical Architect to lead architecture and design activities across a technology project in the United Kingdom. You will work with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to finalise requirements, define the target architecture and develop High-Level Design documentation covering application architecture, infrastructure, security, networking, integrations and data flows.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Architect in complex technology environments.
• Proven ability to lead architecture and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience defining target architectures, system landscapes and integration approaches.
• Strong experience producing High-Level Design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and design workshops with stakeholders to finalise requirements.
• Define and finalise target architecture, system landscape and integration approach.
• Develop and deliver the High-Level Design covering architecture, infrastructure, security, networking and data flows.
• Assess current-state architecture to identify gaps, risks and migration considerations.
• Define non-functional requirements including availability, scalability, performance, security and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security and integration teams to align design standards.
• Review and validate solution designs against architecture guidelines.
• Provide architecture leadership and recommendations to support planning and delivery.
• Produce effort estimations and present the HLD to stakeholders for sign-off.
• Support transition from design to build and implementation teams.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and data flow documentation.
• Obtain BPSS clearance eligibility.
