Job summary

Elemis is seeking a Supply/Demand Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Filton office. The role will start in Demand Planning, developing forecasts and supporting S&OP, then transition to Supply Planning, managing supplier relationships and inventory to ensure product availability.

The ideal candidate has a degree or equivalent, strong analytical skills, and experience with planning systems. The role offers a competitive package and a path to develop across Global Planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short, medium and long-term demand forecasts.
• Analyse sales trends, forecast accuracy and demand planning KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and forecast accuracy.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to build a consensus forecast.
• Support new product launches, promotions and product discontinuations.
• Support monthly S&OP activities.
• Manage supply plans across finished goods and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain service while optimising stock.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks and out-of-stock situations.
• Escalate supply constraints and drive recovery plans with suppliers.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders.
• Build collaborative relationships with Suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and KPIs.
• Resolve supply issues with Suppliers, QC, NPD/EPD and Warehouse.
