Job summary

Insignis Talent seeks a Supply Chain Manager with a strong procurement background to support complex defence programmes. This P3-level role has no line management responsibility and is ideal for an experienced Senior Buyer stepping into a broader scope.

You will manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, support procurement activity and ensure programme requirements are delivered on time and cost effectively. Hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Strong buying, procurement or supply chain experience.
• Construction, engineering or defence experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating and managing suppliers/subcontractors.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• MCIPS, IACCM or WCC advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and buying activities.
• Identify and manage suppliers.
• Lead negotiations and tendering.
• Manage supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Support subcontract negotiations and proposals.
• Monitor supply chain risks.
• Build strong supplier relationships.
