Job summary

Carbon 60, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Lead in Stevenage to drive strategic sourcing within Defence & Advanced Manufacturing. The role involves managing RFx activities, supplier onboarding, and close collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a track record of leading complex sourcing in regulated environments and will leverage tools like Kraljic Matrix to optimise value. Hybrid working and a 6-month contract with extension potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex sourcing and procurement activities within manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong track record delivering RFx events and supplier selection programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing supplier relationships.
• Ability to analyse open-book costing models and identify TCO reduction opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities in line with category strategies.
• Manage complex RFx processes from market engagement to contract award.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to support future capacity and resilience.
• Conduct market analysis, spend analysis and capability assessments.
• Present sourcing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
