Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a procurement professional to own subcategories within the Claims Legal and Technical portfolio and lead strategic sourcing initiatives. You will collaborating with Claims, Legal and Compliance, and external law firms to secure best outcomes while managing risk and supplier performance.

With strong negotiation, data analytics and stakeholder management, you will drive value, sponsor sustainability and deliver year-on-year savings in a hybrid, UK-wide role based in Leeds or

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
• Claims Legal experience and knowledge of the legal services landscape.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence up to senior levels.
• Proven ability to independently create and execute category strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices; experience with modern procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Own key subcategories within Claims Legal and Technical portfolio and execute strategy.
• Lead complex sourcing projects, tenders and negotiations to deliver cost optimisation and value.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Claims, Legal and Compliance.
• Drive supplier innovation and collaborate with SRM team.
• Manage risk in the legal supply chain and implement proactive strategies.
• Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing in procurement activities.
• Hit targets for savings, KPIs and value-added measures.
