Job summary

Carbolite Gero Ltd. in Hope Valley (Peak District) seeks a Site Director to lead a 120-strong team and manage £20 million in revenue. You will own the P&L, drive operational improvements, and champion high-tech R&D and manufacturing excellence across global markets.

The role requires engineering leadership experience, an MBA or Chartered titles, and the ability to operate within a multinational Verder group. Expect international travel and a strategic, high-visibility leadership position.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or similar, with MBA/Chartered Engineer/Chartered Manager/Chartered Director
• Senior leadership experience in manufacturing/engineering
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs including export trade
• Ability to implement continuous improvement across operations
• Inspiring leadership across finance, engineering, manufacturing, production, commercial

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-tech R&D and manufacturing site with 120 employees and £20 Mio revenue
• Own P&L and improve operational performance across business areas
• Foster innovation and elevate Verder DNA
• Provide inspirational leadership and develop managers into leaders
• Report forecasts, EBITDA, margins to C-suite in Germany/Netherlands and UK site
• Strategically direct activities amid international regulations and trade
