Job summary

Safran seeks a Security Lead for Actuation Systems UK, based in Wolverhampton. You will oversee Physical Security, Cyber Security, GRC and Supplier Security, building a high-performing team across UK operations.

You will drive the Information Security Management Programme and act as CRP for EASA Part-IS, embedding a strong security culture. You will collaborate with HR, legal and executive leadership to manage regulatory compliance, incident response and security governance across multi-site

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-site security operations in a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to balance operational efficiency with rigorous security controls.
• Skilled in conflict resolution, investigations, and employee engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across departments.
• Experience with working with Board and Executive level management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain physical security systems including access control, surveillance, perimeter protection, and intrusion detection.
• Oversee security operations across locations such as engineering, manufacturing and offices.
• Develop and enforce personnel security policies including background checks and visitor management.
• Collaborate with HR and legal to address insider threats and employee terminations.
• Lead cyber and information security governance, audits and regulatory compliance.
