Job summary

Lumanity is seeking an experienced Scientific Director/Associate Scientific Director to lead our Medical Communications team. The role focuses on bridging clinical and commercial, leveraging scientific knowledge, regulatory expertise, and industry experience.

The position oversees the editorial workflow, ensures quality, and manages deliverables for Publications/Medical Affairs accounts, guiding a team of medical writers and coordinating with clients to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, or MD required.
• Minimum of 4-5+ years’ medical writing experience in an agency or pharmaceutical company setting.
• CMPP preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of technically accurate, high-quality deliverables for Publications/Medical Affairs accounts.
• Serve as strategic partner to clients; ensure projects are on time and within budget.
• Direct the editorial component of projects; lead a team of medical writers.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and content of all written material.
