Job summary

Hollingwood & Poolsbrook Primary, part of the Flying High Partnership, seeks an experienced School Business Lead to oversee finance, HR, safeguarding compliance, health and safety, and administration across two schools.

You will work with the Headteachers and Site Manager to deliver robust administrative systems, drive improvements, and support strategic direction for the trust’s two settings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading school operations including finance, HR, administration, and facilities management.
• Proven ability to develop systems and processes that improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills across Headteachers, SLT, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, lead and develop a talented office team and foster a culture of professionalism.
• Champion excellence across business functions, ensuring processes are compliant and efficient.
• Support financial planning, budget setting, monitoring and reporting to maximise resources.
• Lead procurement and contract management to secure value and quality services.
• Oversee HR processes, safeguarding compliance and workforce matters.
• Resolve operational challenges to keep day-to-day school operations smooth.
• Build relationships with parents, governors, Trust colleagues and external partners.
