Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a Headteacher to provide leadership and strategic direction for a school in Scotland. You will lead whole‑school policy development, implementation and evaluation to improve educational outcomes for pupils and the community.

You will also manage curriculum and teaching provisions, ensuring quality service delivery and continuous improvement in line with SNCT agreements and Scottish education regulations.

Qualifications

• Holding the Standard for Headship and eligibility for a headteacher post in Scotland.
• PVG Scheme membership or update required; Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent time abroad.
• Pre-employment checks (PVG, references) must be satisfactory.
• Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.
• Minimum one reference from current or most recent employer.
