Job summary

Humphrey Perkins School in Barrow upon Soar, part of Lionheart Educational Trust, seeks an Associate Principal to drive school improvement and lead teaching excellence. You will work with the Executive Principal and Trust team to raise outcomes and foster a culture where every student thrives.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership, using data-informed practice to raise standards, while upholding safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive education across the school.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience at Vice Principal level or above.
• Significant experience of raising standards and improving student outcomes.
• Ability to inspire, challenge and motivate staff and students.
• Strong strategic thinking with operational leadership skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education, diversity, equity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive school improvement through data-informed practice and trust-wide collaboration.
• Lead and inspire staff to deliver exceptional teaching and learning.
• Ensure high standards of behaviour, attendance, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Develop and implement a shared vision promoting excellence for all students.
• Collaborate with Lionheart Educational Trust colleagues to enhance opportunities and outcomes for every child.
• Build strong relationships with parents, governors and the wider community.
