Job summary

Martin Brower UK & Ireland is seeking a Scheduling Modeller in Heywood to support transport modelling and scheduling across our logistics network. You will develop Paragon-based models, work with data to identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimise planning and resource use.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to improve reporting, automation, and planning processes while contributing to continuous improvement within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with transport planning, scheduling, modelling software such as Paragon or comparable solutions.
• Comfortable working with data and using SQL/Excel to support analysis and reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex information and communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transport planning and scheduling models to support operational planning and future supply chain initiatives.
• Analyse operational, customer and scheduling data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Create databases, reporting tools and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency and visibility.
• Collaborate across departments to support planning projects and service improvements.
• Utilise SQL, VBA, Excel and related tools to streamline processes and validate data.
• Produce clear reports and insights for stakeholders on performance and capacity.
• Maintain scheduling data, documentation and training materials for consistency.
