Description

Who are we looking for?

A new and exciting opportunity to join our growing Business Development (BD) team. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Manager to support and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales team in winning complex sales and servicing complex clients.

This role is pivotal in providing Executive Assistance to the Complex Sales team ensuring they maximize their impact on the Carne business.

This role will be instrumental in large account planning, sales enablement, and pipeline management, supporting the team in navigating high-value, multi-stakeholder sales processes.

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven expertise in Large Account Management Planning.
  • Experience in complex sales support, sales operations, or account management within asset servicing, fund administration, securities services, or financial services.
  • Understanding of institutional clients, investment operations, and regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, UCITS, CASS, Basel, MiFID, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and sales reporting tools. Salesforce Expert.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Role and Responsibilities
Large Account Planning & Sales Strategy Support
  • Assist sales executives in developing and managing large account plans for sophisticated institutional clients (asset managers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, etc.).
  • Conduct research on client teams, structures, investment strategies, and decision-making processes to identify opportunities.
  • Help map key stakeholders and develop engagement strategies.
  • Support the creation of tailored client presentations and sales proposals.
Sales Enablement & Marketing Support
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, thought leadership materials, and coordinate events.
  • Assist in organizing client events, webinars, and industry conferences.
Sales Process & Pipeline Management
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Maintain records of client interactions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Monitor deal progress and milestones.
Sales Analytics & Reporting
  • Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
  • Provide insights on competitors, pricing trends, and client needs.
Client & Internal Coordination
  • Coordinate between sales, client managers, and operations for seamless onboarding.
  • Schedule meetings, reviews, and strategy sessions.
  • Support client communications and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate cross-border sales efforts with global teams.
