Job summary

Bryden Precision Engineering is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth in industrial engineered metal products across the UK. The role focuses on new business development, expanding a portfolio of high-value accounts, and delivering multi-hundred-thousand to multi-million pound contracts.

You will regularly visit clients, work with engineering teams, and negotiate complex deals, aiming for substantial revenue growth while maintaining technical credibility and long-term

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales of engineered/machined/assembled industrial products.
• Experience selling into regulated industrial sectors (rail, power, aerospace, defence).
• Willing and able to travel regularly UK-based; attendance at HQ 12 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key industrial accounts with significant spend potential.
• Win new business and grow smaller accounts into major revenue streams.
• Sell into rail, power, defence, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Engage clients at engineering, procurement, and board levels.
• Conduct regular client site visits to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to craft bespoke solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle: lead generation, technical consultation, proposals, negotiation, closing.
• Prepare accurate forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.
