Trafford Council invites applications for a senior leadership role to oversee the Trafford Safeguarding Adults Board. You will work with the Independent Chair and partner agencies to provide strategic leadership, assurance and challenge to fulfil statutory duties under the Care Act 2014.

Your work will strengthen multi‑agency governance and drive learning and improvement across the partnership. You will lead on governance, data usage, audits and safeguarding reviews, ensuring learning is

Qualifications

Substantial experience in adult safeguarding within social care, health or related fields.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
Experience of multi-agency working, quality assurance, performance management and project delivery.

Responsabilités

Provide strategic leadership for Trafford Safeguarding Adults Board and governance across partner agencies.
Chair complex meetings and write clear strategic reports for senior partners.
Drive improvement using audits, reviews and learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews and LeDeR.
Manage the Board’s governance arrangements, business plan, budget and resources, and support its committees.
