Job summary

HS2 Ltd is seeking a dedicated Risk Manager to support management of strategic enterprise risk across our programme. You will develop risk policies, processes and standards, and ensure they are applied consistently to deliver robust risk management and mitigation across the organisation.

You will lead qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, model cost and schedule risks, and provide leadership with risk insights to inform decisions. A risk qualification (IRM/APM) is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and applying risk management policies and standards.
• Ability to model risks quantitatively for cost, time and other categories.
• Proven track record of guiding teams in risk mitigation and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support development of an integrated view of risk across the programme.
• Provide guidance in risk management and mitigation to teams.
• Develop and implement risk policies, processes and standards.
• Ensure consistent application of risk policies across the programme lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Controls and supply chain for risk profiling and sharing.
• Support periodic performance and risk reporting to leaders.
• Advise on risk management across the organisation.
• Provide line management support to direct reports.
