Job summary

Winston Taylor, a transatlantic law firm, seeks a Resource Allocation Manager to lead day-to-day deployment of lawyers across the Corporate practice, ensure client demand is met, and sustain strong utilization.

You will collaborate with partners, Talent, Finance and BD to anticipate pipeline needs, resolve capacity challenges, and make commercially sound staffing decisions that keep the firm moving and clients ahead of the moment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong commercial judgment with ability to turn utilization and capacity data into actions.
• Highly organized and resilient, able to handle competing priorities and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own lawyer allocation across the practice and make confident resourcing decisions.
• Anticipate capacity pressures, identify gaps, and work with partners to resolve staffing challenges quickly.
• Analyze utilization, pipeline and forecast data to provide clear recommendations for profitability.
• Strengthen and evolve resource management processes and promote efficient tool usage across the firm.
