Role/Department

This high-profile specialist role involves engaging with senior members of Northern Trust to support the successful remediation of regulator and audit findings. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and challenge critical Regulatory/Audit remediation initiatives, including responses, plans, programs, and key deliverables.
  • Identify and escalate gaps in responses and remediation efforts, providing feedback in management forums before formal closure submissions.
  • Advise business and corporate functions on responding to regulatory or audit inquiries and implementing remediation programs.
  • Ensure remediation plans demonstrate risk reduction and an improved control environment with evidence of design and operational effectiveness.
  • Engage actively with stakeholders across NTC, collaborating closely with subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Remediation Validation Testing to ensure robust testing plans aligned with remediation activities.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in financial services, particularly in non-financial risk areas within financial institutions or consulting.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
