Job summary

TheCityUK in London is seeking an Executive to support the Head of Americas and the Associate Director of EMEA in shaping international strategy. You will conduct research, draft policy papers, and coordinate dialogues and delegation activities to advance the UK’s financial and professional services interests in key markets.

You will deliver briefing materials, manage timelines, and liaise across teams to ensure high-quality outputs and effective stakeholder engagement with government, industry

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.
• Proven research and writing skills for policy papers and briefing documents.
• Excellent verbal communication and persuasive written communication.
• Experience in financial and related professional services policy and promotion.
• Commercially aware with ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Experience balancing competing interests and delivering value-added outputs on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership to develop international strategy and priorities for the Americas and EMEA regions.
• Undertake research, prepare briefings and policy papers, and contribute to policy thinking for bilateral and multilateral engagements.
• Draft responses to Government consultations and internal/external communications.
• Support event planning, timelines and liaison with internal teams for project outputs.
• Deliver programmes to develop UK and regional financial and professional services synergies and promote member interests.
• Monitor markets with growth potential and assist in delegation visits and dialogues.
