Ministry of Justice in Newport seeks a Commissioning and Partnerships Manager to drive regional commissioning strategy, lead partnership arrangements, and coordinate with regional and national stakeholders to deliver value-for-money services for People on Probation.

You will oversee the development of service specifications, manage budgets, and collaborate with MoJ Commercial and external partners to improve outcomes and reduce reoffending, with a strategic focus on performance and quality

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate leadership and innovation, supporting the Head of Community Integration and Senior Commissioning and Partnership Manager in executing the regional commissioning strategy.
• Produce and implement service/need-specific commissioning plans across the full range of services.
• Manage service needs for commissioning plans aligning with regional and national priorities.
• Implement commissioning plans that meet diverse needs, are financially robust, and offer value-for-money with innovative approaches.
• Assist in devolved budgeting for the region and manage resources for commissioning projects.
• Lead and manage teams, recruit and train staff, and support Heads to deliver responsibilities across services.
• Collaborate with regional and national leads to analyse evidence, inform reviews, and plan new services.
• Understand current Probation Service delivery and identify best practices for future commissioning.
• Develop and implement portfolio of evidence-based service specifications and engage stakeholders to support regional and national strategies.
• Lead work with MoJ Commercial, Sourcing and Procurement on market engagement, payment mechanisms, and bid processes.
