Job summary

Nova Stars Group is seeking a senior Group Referrals & Assessments Manager to own referrals, assessments, placements and occupancy across the Group. You will build and manage relationships with authorities, commissioners, social workers and NHS/ICB professionals, expanding networks and ensuring funded placements are safe and sustainable.

You'll work with ISST, Quality & Compliance and Registered Managers to optimise admissions, funding proposals and fee negotiations, while driving a proactive,

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level experience in social care referrals, placements, commissioning, assessments or business development.
• Strong knowledge of learning disabilities and/or autism and complex support needs.
• Established network of professional relationships within commissioning and social care.
• Experience generating referrals and contributing to occupancy growth.
• Experience with tenders, frameworks, procurement portals and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of referrals, assessments, placements and occupancy across the Group.
• Develop and manage relationships with local authorities, commissioners, social workers, brokerage teams, NHS/ICB professionals, transitions teams and case managers.
• Build new referral networks locally and nationally, including out-of-borough opportunities.
• Coordinate the journey from enquiry through assessment, funding and admission.
• Collaborate with ISST, Quality & Compliance and Registered Managers to ensure safe, appropriate placements.
