Job summary
Hayley Dexis seeks a commercially aware Supply Chain Buyer to join our established Rail team in Oldbury. You will develop strong relationships with supply partners and negotiate best deals while ensuring quality, cost and timely delivery.
The role focuses on supplier performance, cost-saving opportunities, resolving supply issues and contributing to continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and resilience. Previous supply chain experience is essential and ERP/MRP exposure is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Previous supply chain experience essential.
- Experience in similar industries and supplier base beneficial.
- Exposure to ERP and MRP systems; proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with supply partners and negotiate best deals.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve supply issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery of products.
