Job summary

Randstad Sourceright partners with a forward-thinking transport and rail technology organisation to recruit a Material Demand Planner. You will provide material demand planning across fleets and projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely material inflows.

You will collaborate with the Material Planning team, liaise with project managers, and support automation of planning processes to optimise the forecasting system.

Qualifications

• High level of data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Previous detailed experience with IBP / SIOP programs.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles.
• IT literate with numeracy skills.
• Ability to communicate and present at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes for forecasting and demand planning.
• Plan and schedule materials to minimize inventory and support production schedules.
• Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to align delivery plans.
• Validate and record materials delivery plans and purchase requests.
• Escalate issues and drive root cause analysis with stakeholders.
• Analyse production demand signals to support accurate forecasting.
